Past Experience: Born and raised in Austin, Texas. Began working at 9 years old as a stable boy at Pool's School of Horsemanship. First catering job at 16 for Shirley's Cake and Flowers. Travel to Europe, Mexico, Central America and many US States.

Greatest professional learning experience: Planning, preparing and serving the first BOB dinner at Quail. The work is its own reward. Always do the best you are able. Never, ever let up until the guests are gone.

Favorite guilty pleasure food: Nutty coconut ice cream

Takes out of town guests to eat at: Tommy's Tequila Parlor in San Francisco Town in San Carlos Tony's in San Francisco Golden Boy in San Francisco Henry's Hunan in San Francisco Picantes in Berkeley

Recharges by: Gardening, biking with my Dalmatian, hiking, camping, road trips.
